Some things you like.
Other things touch you. They stay.
There is a difference between things I like and things I love.
What I like changes with the seasons. What I love, I wear again and again, because it says something about who I am. Jewelry always falls into that last category for me.
Things I like: trends, moments, impulses
I love trends. I recently wrote a new blog post about the trends for 2026 ! Trends inspire, surprise, and energize. A striking shape, a new color, a detail that suddenly pops up everywhere, wonderful! But trends are also fleeting. They belong to a moment, to a feeling of the moment.
Things I love: jewelry with a story
And what I truly love is jewelry that lasts (see the rise of sustainable jewelry ). Pieces you wear not just because they're beautiful, but because they mean something. A ring you always wear. A necklace you miss when your hair isn't. A pair of earrings that transforms your outfit and your attitude.
These are the jewelry that does not fit into a trend, but into a life.

Why jewelry becomes emotional
Jewelry is often silent witness.
They mark memories, phases, growth. They become more beautiful with use. Not despite, but because of their past. Pre-loved and vintage jewelry already carries that story. You feel it the moment you hold it.
At Donna Dorée, I consciously choose jewelry that has that layered quality. No mass production, but pieces with character. Things you don't just like, you love.
Things I love, today and tomorrow
What I love today, I can still wear ten years from now. That's my benchmark. Whether it's a subtle gemstone or a bold statement piece, it should continue to speak, even when everything around you changes.
Perhaps that is the essence of style: knowing what you love, and daring to wear it.
Discover jewelry that doesn't follow a trend, but a feeling.
