Warning magnetic jewelry
Important information about our jewelry with magnet:
Putting on and taking off your jewelry
Slide both closure parts very gently and easily sideways apart when putting on and taking off your jewelry. Do not let the parts bang hard against each other.
Our magnets also have a light plating, over time this will wear off due to sliding of the magnet, the strength of the magnet remains intact.
Nickel allergy
Our Neodymium magnets are nickel-plated, a substance that people are sometimes allergic to. Do you have a nickel allergy? Then avoid direct skin contact with the brooches, but wear them on the collar of your jacket or dress, for example.
Be careful with children
Magnets are absolutely not toys. If small magnets are swallowed, they can cause serious damage to the body.
Magnets conduct electricity. So be careful that children do not plug them into a socket, as this can cause a shock. Be careful and keep them away from small curious hands.
Medical risks
Magnets can interfere with pacemakers and implanted defibrillators. If you have a pacemaker or other medical device, it is important to keep a safe distance from magnets.
Impact on electronic devices
Magnets can damage your TV, laptop, hard drive, credit cards and more electronic or mechanical devices. Therefore, keep magnetic jewelry away from sensitive electronic devices.
Flammability and wear of the magnet
The (drilling) dust that is released when working on magnets can quickly ignite. Handle magnets with care and avoid mechanical processing.
