Online store software

Shopify

Donna Dorée's webshop has been developed with Shopify software. Personal data that you make available to us for the benefit of the service will be shared with this party. Shopify has access to your data to provide me with (technical) support, they will never use your data for any other purpose. Based on the agreement I have concluded with them, Shopify is obliged to take appropriate security measures. These security measures consist of the application of SSL encryption and a strong password policy. Shopify is a certified credit card data processor.

Shopify uses cookies to collect technical information related to your use of the software, no personal data is collected and/or stored. Shopify reserves the right to share collected data within its own group in order to further improve the service. Shopify takes into account the applicable statutory retention periods for (personal) data. The EU/US Privacy Shield applies, your data may be processed in the United States.

MijnDomein

I purchase web hosting and email services from MijnDomein. MijnDomein processes personal data on my behalf and does not use your data for its own purposes. However, this party can collect metadata about the use of the services. This is not personal data. MijnDomein has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent loss and unauthorized use of your personal data. MijnDomein is obliged to observe secrecy on the basis of the agreement.

Shipping and logistics

PostNL

If you place an order with Donna Dorée, it is my job to have your package delivered to you. Donna Dorée uses the services of PostNL to make deliveries. It is therefore necessary that we share your name, address and residence details with PostNL. PostNL uses this information only for the purpose of executing the agreement. In the event that PostNL engages subcontractors, PostNL will also make your data available to these parties.

Purpose of data processing

General purpose of the processing

When using the website www.donnadoree.com I obtain certain information from you.

I only use your data for the benefit of the service. This means that the purpose of the processing is always directly related to the assignment you provide. Donna Dorée does not use your data for (targeted) marketing. If you share information with me and I use this information - other than at your request - to contact you at a later time, we will ask for your explicit permission. 

Your data will not be shared with third parties, other than to comply with accounting and other administrative obligations. These third parties are all held to secrecy by virtue of the agreement between them and Donna Dorée or an oath or legal obligation.

Retention periods

Donna Dorée will keep your data as long as you are our client. This means that we will keep your customer profile until you indicate that you no longer wish to use the services of Donna Dorée. If you indicate this to me, we will also regard this as a request to be forgotten. This means as well  that I will not not store your data for longer than two years from the last moment of contact or transaction, unless there is a legal justification for doing so. Based on applicable administrative obligations, I must keep invoices with your (personal) data, so I will keep this data for as long as the applicable term is valid.

Cookies are used on the Donna Dorée website/webshop to ensure that it functions correctly. I have not allowed Google to use the analytics information obtained for other Google services.
